Rachel Davis will do anything to get her sister out of a bad relationship with her fiancé. Even if it involves a few fibs, a little breaking-and-entering, and blackmailing the fiancé's potential boss, Charles, for his help. So what if the handsome Charles happens to be a vampire?

Charles Wright has found the perfect way to trap the man threatening his brother's wife: cozy up to him, get invited along on the skiing trip, and then search for incriminating evidence. How much better that audacious but gorgeous Rachel is just as eager to nail the bastard. As far as he's concerned, there's nothing wrong with a little blackmail between two consenting adults. Especially when it's time for Rachel to pay up.

The second book in the Sons of Kane series is a funny, sexy and entertaining romp.

I’ve not read the first book, Don’t Bite the Bridesmaid but I will fix that real soon. Even thought I started with the second book, Don’t Blackmail the Vampire it was easy to jump into the plot with no problem. I could tell that there was some carry over from the first book with the mention of characters and events that took place earlier in the series.

Rachel, the heroine is trying to save her sister, Kristen from the douche bag of a fiancé. But her sister is being pig-headed about it, so Rachel joins her sister, said douche bag and his friend on a week-long skiing vacation.

Charles, the hero is trying to help his brother by finding the person that is threatening his brother’s wife. Charles thinks that Brent (the douche bag fiancé) is the one making the threats to his new sister-in-law and poses as someone wanting to hire Brent for a job in order to get closer to him to get the proof that he’s right or to find out if he is wrong so that he can move on with his investigation.

Rachel and Charles meet at the bar in the ski resort but after Rachel shoots Charles down they go their own way. Until she sees Charles in the alley snacking on a blonde. Yep the vamp is out of the bag. Rachel tries to blackmail Charles into helping her break up her sister and Brent by telling him if he doesn’t that she will tell everyone he is a vampire. Charles finds her funny and sexy.

While the two of them work together to break up Brent and Kristen they end up getting closer and Rachel finds out that Charles can be a monster…. in the bed.

If you’re looking for a fast read with snark and sass in the form of a paranormal romance will enjoy Tiffany Allee’s Don’t Blackmail the Vampire. Stay tuned for my review of book 1, Don’t Bite the Bridesmaid.
